How Accurate are e-Survey GNSS RTK systems?
Modern GNSS RTK systems can provide a relative accuracy of 0.8cm +/- 1ppm horizontal and 1.5cm +/- 1ppm in the vertical. This relative accuracy can be translated into absolute accuracy using Monuments. All the GNSS RTK systems Advanced Mapping Solutions provides are capable of this level of accuracy.
How much does an RTK GPS system cost?
Modern GNSS RTK systems are comparable in price to robotic total stations, while providing a much higher level of productivity. Hemisphere GNSS receivers come fully loaded with the ability to track and make measurements from all 5 satellites constellation, included in the base price of our Machine Control Systems.
How well does Hemisphere Machine Control (GradeMetrix) work in poor conditions?
Because of the inclusion of five major constellations as a standard, GradeMetrix can pull data from a complete range of satellites for better reception, lower on the horizon. GradeMetrix works well close to structures, in valleys and under thick canopy.
How do I update my Hemisphere Hardware or GradeMetrix Software?
Whether we are onsite or remote, our technicians can help you with firmware or software updates so that all your equipment has the latest version updates. This service is complimentary when you buy gear from Advanced Mapping Solutions.
Where can I find technical information about my GradeMetrix machine control system?

DotNetix Troubleshooting
If there is something wrong with the Camera system, how will I know if it is offline?
Within the SafEye programming, there are safety factors withing the optics of the camera. If the signal is unclear for any amount of time, a warning is relayed to the operator right on the screen in the cab.
If there is an event and I need to see what happened, how can I share that with a supervisor?
All DotNetix products hold about 40 hours of raw recorded data within the camera. This can either be downloaded via an Ethernet cable to a laptop or transferred via the ClearView Remote Analytics program.
If there are any issues with the system, how can I troubleshoot?
An Advanced Mapping Solutions representative will be able to walk you through any troubleshooting issues you may have. Our complete operator and install manuals will be available to anyone who purchases our products. We will also be offering video training manuals as well as on site training and installation.
